Welcome to the School District No. 83 (North Okanagan-Shuswap) Framework for Enhancing Student Learning Website. On this site you will find our District Context, our current District Data, our Achievement Goals, and the strategies and structures we use for Supporting Learning for our students and our adults as guided by our District Strategic Plan.

This website is designed to serve as a repository for the same information that would have previously appeared in documents we shared with the Ministry of Education, including the District Achievement Contract and the Superintendent’s Report on Achievement. It will also serve the additional function as the District Education Plan and meet the Ministry of Education’s new requirement to create a Framework for Enhancing Student Learning.

We will update this website regularly as results become available, and as our work changes in response to new information. This will lead to increased transparency for our stakeholders and our Board of Education by keeping this information current and readily accessible for the public. As well, the website will lead to increased accountability in that we will be using the information to set goals for student learning and describe how we intend to reach those goals as a district.
